Is the "add video" functionality unavailable now? - as I saw it appear on your videos but not when I create my account.

But, now this IA narrator is so close to the uncanny valley effect for me... I'd really like to compare it to a live person. Maybe a presentation with this narrator loses a lot more in conversion than the savings in production.
Add an API from Fiverr, like Canva does with stock images, for a quick live person recording.
Add a/b testing of the resulting options.

Hey @ashwin_madhavan and @tushar_bhatnagar congrats on the great work. The pains and problems you described are very common, and I personally struggled recently exactly in finding the flexible and smart approach in creating presentation videos; therefore your solution resonates a lot with me ;).
I believe that leveraging AI for both text-to-speech and image/video playback is definitely the right strategy and a no-regret move for everyone (in this industry as in many others) in the near future.
And the scenarios and use cases you can add are endless, e.g. automatic AI-based videos for social platforms, how-to-guides and demos, etc.
I will give it a try.

As any product parent, Tushar and I, as co-founders, are extremely excited about the launch of vidBoard. It is a common practice across the globe for would-be parents to organize a grand baby shower before the baby is born. How it all started?
There is an ancient Chinese proverb that goes - “The hardest part of any important task is getting started on it in the first place.” Truly, the journey of vidBoard is a perfect representation of this statement.
The story of vidBoard began while I was working in an online legal education platform called Enhelion. When the pandemic hit in 2020, it became challenging for us to generate video content at scale for our student community. On one hand, the demand for online learning was increasing exponentially, and on the other, continuous lockdowns created roadblocks for video production. I happened to meet my future co-founder and a dear friend, Tushar (@tushar_bhatnagar), during the same time. He is a geek who loves solving tech problems. Naturally, he suggested the use of AI for video generation.
Traditionally, if you want to create a video presentation, you follow these steps-
1. Writing a script 📝
2. Hiring an actor/presenter 🕵🏻
3. Going to a studio and connecting with studio professionals like cameramen, makeup artists etc. 📹
4. Recording the video with several retakes just to get that one perfect shot 😑😓
5. Sending the video to an editing studio; hiring translators and voiceover artists if you wish to translate the video into different languages. 😵💫
Trust me, it’s nothing less than a nightmare. 😨
It is very tiresome, requires a lot of patience and creates a BIG hole in the pocket. I can just go on and on with the hassles and dramas involved, but you got my point, right?
Having gone through the same nightmare, the entrepreneurial bug in me wanted to find a solution for this never-ending and tormenting process of video creation. Hence, vidBoard came into being! 🦸🏻♂️

A big thanks to the makers around the globe and the PH team to help us with the soft release of our public BETA platform. This is my first big launch and I’m extremely nervous as well as excited. 🤪
With vidBoard.ai, the problem we are trying to address is around presenter-led video presentation tools and that too at scale. The traditional processes of creating video presentations are too complex. From writing a script to engaging a video presenter, adjusting the lighting to hiring professionals like cameramen, voice artists, translators, make-up artists etc. and the worst part of the whole process… Those N-number of retakes. 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Do we really need to go ahead and soldier through all these tedious tasks and at the same time spend a lot of time, effort, money, and mental peace on it? 🤔

It is impressive that you only need an image and you can generate the avatar (I hope I didn't get this wrong).
It has really good quality, and it seems a great tool for scaling content generation.
BTW, Can a voiceover be uploaded for generating the content?
Yes! You got it right! Thats what we envision and the avatars on our portal are mere photos. :)))..
To answer your awesome question - yes we intend to add this feature in our second version.
