@pradeepmalakar that's scraping, it's just a matter of time before meta shuts you down. There's a reason why people don't build private account analytics for those you don't have connected

Just to clarify, in this scenario, the tool doesnāt rely on cloud-based data collection or rapid scraping from the same IP address. It works through a Chrome extension, which mimics real user behavior, making it harder to distinguish between the two. Automatic scrolling is one of the features that you can observe in action.
As for Instagram's approach, theyāve already made scraping quite difficult by ensuring that previously loaded data is wiped off the page as users scroll, requiring a reload when revisiting. This strategy makes scraping feasible only when a real user is actively interacting with the page, not when it's done through cloud-based processes.
Letās see how things unfold as Instagram continues to evolve its strategies around scraping. (I think they don't care if it doesn't harm their business anyway, unlike auto DM tools that could lead users to shift to another platform. Even this encourages users to create more content easily, so in the end, more high-dopamine content means more user time spent and more ad revenue for Meta.)
The best approach I can see for Meta to shut down ViralSort (not me) is for Instagram to provide an in-built sorting feature like YouTube does (latest, popular, oldest). That way, the need for something like ViralSort becomes irrelevant. (or make a deal with Google to delist it from the Chrome Store).
