THIS IS WHAT WE NEED. there are many ways to create change & company-building is one of them. yet we exist within the context of societal and political structures that were never designed to give all founders and visionaries the access to capital & support systems they need to succeed. visible hands is one of the most inspiring initiatives i’ve ever come across and i’m so excited to see their revolutionary force materialize. get it. 🔥🔥🔥

All early investors *say* they invest in founders, not ideas, but VH walks the walk. They are a super-inspiring team and this is a very cool program trying to do things differently. Tell yer friends!

This is so awesome, congrats on the launch! What are the terms for the first $25k convertible note, is there a valuation cap and/or discount rate?

Hi everyone! I'm excited to share some exciting news about Visible Hands. My co-founders and I built Visible Hands on the premise that inclusion improves innovation. We know that there are many exceptional people from marginalized identities who would make great founders. However, not everyone has the financial safety net, social networks, or resources needed to take that leap into entrepreneurship. This is why Visible Hands comes in at the earliest, most formative stages of company-building. From September to December of this year, we are holding a 14-week, full-time virtual-first fellowship to support underrepresented talent in launching high-growth technology companies. We provide each fellow in our cohort with company-building services and meaningful funding. Fellows receive a $25k investment upon admission to help cover company and living expenses for the duration of the program. At the end of the 14 weeks, fellows will have the opportunity to pitch to our Investment Advisory Committee for additional funding of up to $175k. Fellows will also have access to: - 1:1 Coaching for week-to-week structure and accountability - The Visible Hands Ecosystem (our diverse national network of 600+ industry experts, investors, and founders) - Expert-led programming and office hours - Individualized content recommendations from a library of company-building resources - Emotional intelligence, wellness, and leadership development to empower you to build without burnout and lead effective teams You can learn more about the fellowship, our team, and our mission to close the VC funding gap on our (http://visiblehands.vc). We'd love to see you apply! Our team will be monitoring this page all day, so please feel free to drop your questions and feedback below.

Visible Hands' Fellowship is truly a game-changer. I highly recommend you check it out if you are a current or future early-stage founder who identifies as a female or from an underrepresented group! Go team!! 🔥💪

Visible Hands has an exceptional team & an essential solution to creating more equitable opportunities for founders to build next-generation technology start-ups. If you've been frustrated by the lack of meaningful support for BIPOC & female founders, this is the perfect program to help close that gap for fellows and funders. Exciting time to apply!
Taylor Straatmann
This team has thought of everything- how to create a valuable founder community, how to launch exciting products, and how to build equity for BIPOC and underrepresented founders into every part of the process. If you're even just interested in entrepreneurship, consider applying. This is such an exciting opportunity to not only take your own leap into seeing your ideas become reality, but also to be a part of a program that is sure to make waves in the entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem

This team is super passionate about entrepreneurship and gender and racial equity. So excited to see this initiative launched. The start-up space is crying out for an initiative like this. If you're a POC and/or a woman who's interested in start-ups (or even just thought about them before) this is the team to support you and help your idea grow!
