With Voicl you can easily embed voice notes onto your website. Engage with your users in a much more personal way, provide content summaries, extra information and CTA's - using your OWN voice!
@svenja_rossig Yeah it's definitely that, and also this is a great way to engage with disabled people who use voice-over accessibility. I can see Voicl be a more friendly way to address this, as opposed to the robotic accessibility voice-over, which I assume can sometimes sound annoying (I'm not disabled myself, so it would probably need proper research here haha).
@erikfiala Yes!! Exactly, that's what we thouht too. People with reading disabilities should still be offered a personal website experience without having to listen to good old siri styled voice programms explaining the content to them..:)
Hi Makers,
I'm super excited & nervous to launch Voicl. A tool that will enables voice on the website. So you pick the templates, upload audio file or record one from the tool, you get a small piece of code and you place it anywhere on your website.
You can use it interact with your website visitors with your voice. Create vocal CTAs, guide them to the next step and make your content much more accessible.
Let us know if you have any feedback! We would love to hear it.
👀 Quick story time 👀
So I do projects with random strangers on internet. Svenja is one of them. This is my second project of this series. It's a really fun experience doing that. I'm gonna keep doing that lol.
Suggestion about your site: Put a working example somewhere up above the fold immediately. I was clicking on anything and everything trying to see/ hear an example.
I especially clicked every arrow looking thing on your main graphic at top of page.
Looks like nice product. upvoted. Hope you do well :)
@art_koster I see — we will surely add one example above the fold as well just like we did on our complete landing page.
Thank you so much for checking it out. Really appreciate the feedback.
@alexemartel Thank you for your feedback!! For now we only allow changes to font and background - however more customizations are already on their way for v2!! We thought for the launch it'd be nice to have a cohesive branding going on everywhere and wanted our signature green to be a part of it. :)
Hey @svenja_rossig love the launch - something you might want to consider down the line for those that aren't as confident/comfortable recording their own voice is using AI to play a written line of text.
Also I often mute tabs and forget sometimes - if there is a way on the website you could provide a notification to a user that the tab is muted then that might help with any confusion.
@maxwellcdavis Thank you for the feedback! We actually offer a voicy creation service, where I would record the voice notes for those who aren't comfortable! We do have AI in the backs of our heads for an upcoming tho, just not sure yet if that will provide the same amount of personal experience which we strive for with voicl..
Hey fellow Makers!💃🥳
I'm very excited to be presenting my very first co-built product today! It's called Voicl and helps users embed custom voice notes onto their website.🎙
This will help engage your users on a way more personal level, create super accessible content, increase your website's CTR and overall cater towards an entertaining and up close & personal online experience for your users.💥
Now, how did a finance student suddenly trip and fall into the SaaS puddle you might ask?🔮
Actually, that's a funny story - but also a long one and we decided to save it for our first Forbes interview.....🕵️♀️
Long story short: about 7 months ago my business partner approached me online and up-front asked me, if I wanted to build a product with him.
Me, barely knowing what haich-tea-em-ell is.
But nevertheless, I was intrigued and told him "I think it's kinda cool". So we decided to build Voicl together.
Boom.
Hope you enjoy playing around with Voicl!
Feel free to leave your thoughts (and roasts) in the comments below, we'll be stalking them throughout the entire day. 😎
Happy Launch Day!!🥳
@svenja_rossig@joel_libava Yes — we used our own tool on our landing page. You can create your first voicy, get a html code of it and then you can embed it anywhere on your landing page.
@svenja_rossig -- cool stuff! One point of feedback -- take it or leave it -- your landing page has a lot of unclickable play buttons on the image and then a video demo down below with a short scroll, but no voicy. You might want to have a clearly identifiable voicy above the fold, like you do on the pricing page.
@svenja_rossig -- and one more thing -- it might be useful for the end user of the website to know how long the voicy is. Just the anxiety of not knowing how much more there is, I guess 🙂
@kirank5a We will add clickable voicys at the top as we've received this feedback quite a lot now - thank you for pointing it out! :) And yes, your secodn point is alos very good..we will keep that in mind!!! Thank you for checking it out, we really appreciate it :)
