VOTEism for Belarus is a political opinion poll app. If you are a Belarusian you can download the VOTEism app and vote for your Presidential Candidate. Your votes are encrypted using public key cryptography.

hi amara, nice idea! but im confused, why your app isn‘t available in german appstore?

@ruslan_varabyou Hi. The app is available only to users in countries where elections are due (currently USA and Belarus). Given the sensitive nature of the app, this is to prevent possible cross-voting and misuse. We hope to gradually bring VOTEism to every country that has a democracy, Germany included.

@amaraangelini but what about belarusian citizens like me living somewhere else, who still has a right to vote?
@ruslan_varabyou i'm really sorry to disappoint you here. The decision we made was to restrict the app only to those currently within the geographic limits of Belarus and who have a valid Belarus mobile number. We had to make this restriction to prevent unauthorized voting.
I hope your friends and family are safe in Belarus. You can spread the message and have them vote.

@amaraangelini it's crazy what's going on in Belarus. Hope the situation gets better. I watched the news and it's horrifying, women being dragged on the streets, locked up.
