Microsoft came out with a new code editor during the Build Conference that allows you to build and debug modern web and cloud applications. You can run this application on Linux, Mac or Windows. Really love the look of this, and it's a very good move in the open/cross-platform software direction - what are your thoughts?

Good move, but I am still skeptical about intentions. Probably It will have something which will only work for Microsoft technologies and thats where their (Microsoft's) focus will be. I will be happy, if I am proven wrong.
