Waldo is the worldβs first no-code testing platform that lets anyone create reliable, automated mobile tests without the hassle of scripting. Forget scripting your mobile tests, use waldo.
It's 2021 and mobile testing is still hard and cumbersome. Exciting to see that Waldo works with iOS and Android now and allows to standardize on one tool for shipping mobile apps.
Waldo is an super powerful tool that we use at Jumbo: Privacy & Security to build a better mobile app! Since at Jumbo we release new updates on a weekly cadence to make sure we learn fast on our Product Market Fit, Waldo has enabled us to be more confident in our builds sent to AppStore, and now to the PlayStore. While Apple reviews time are now under 48 hours, any critical bugs on a native app still remain a HUGE issue for us, since a bug that last 48 hours will impact a lot of our customers and new potential customers. Waldo have saved us countless bugs and QA time!
I'll echo @pierrevalade's sentiment here. We've been using Waldo at Truebill and we LOVE it. I've seen many many "easy UI testing" solutions in the past and Waldo is the only one that actually delivers on the promise.
I can't emphasize what a game changer this is. I'm a co-founder and CTO of the mobile app Keepsafe.
We have over 100m installs and are shipping a new update every two weeks, not including hot fixes.
I've been fortunate enough be be able to use Waldo for Android for the past 1.5 years in early beta. This has completely transformed with how much confidence we can ship updates.
We have by now over 380 UI tests running on every release. In fact, over the last year, we rewrote the entire app from scratch, so we have every test in the old codebase and the new codebase as we're planning a slow rollout.
It has been instrumental to be able to know that existing functionality still works. Especially the flows that are hard to trigger.
If you still test manually, or write code for integrated test, I encourage you to give Waldo a go, it will change your business!
Hi PH community!
In 2020, we were focused on offering the best experience automating iOS tests without the hassle of scripting.
Since then we have been hard at work, listening to our userβs requests, and now with a strong foundation in place, we're thrilled to announce the official launch of Android support on Waldo!
Many of our customers struggle with Android testing, and rightfully so: with device and OS fragmentation, Android apps can quickly become a nest for bugs if not tested thoroughly.
There's always the option to automate using scripts. We understand that nobody got time for that, so we decided to do the heavy lifting for you.
Whats new?
π² Support for Android Apps.
βοΈ React-Native, Flutter apps are welcome.
π§ Refined features and improvements for easy modular testing.
π¦ New look for your Runs and Results!
π We've added in-depth guides and tutorials to our Documentation.
Think we can help take your app to the next level?
Waldo is now open for sign-ups for both iOS and Android platforms! Try it out for yourself!
Waldo already led the way with no-code automated tests for iOS.. Now Android devs can finally get rid of their headaches too!? The only question is, what will they do with all that extra time on their hands? Amazing!!
Congrats to the team! Waldo is a great tool for automated testing, providing iOS and (now) Android teams support to test their apps without writing codes. Making apps more user-friendly and bug free! ππΌ
This is a game-changer. Being able to test across different IOS and now android versions in parallel... this is a huge time saver for app teams. Super exciting that Waldo is now supporting android.
Done it again, changing the game in testing, this time for Android! The save and continue feature in the Waldo recorder is going to be extremely useful and big time saver for both iOS and Android teams - you can create multiple tests and link together dependencies in one session of the recorder. Alas, less Appium, XCTest, Espresso head scratch moments!
