🚀 Hey everyone! We’re excited to introduce Warestack! Over the past few months, we’ve spoken with more than 50 developers to understand their daily struggles. - Development teams often find themselves lost in endless communication threads, hanging code reviews, risky merges, and broken workflow runs. - Many struggle with poorly documented or unprotected code changes. - Best practices are skipped due to tight deadlines or other challenges. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our very first version of Warestack, offering actionable insights and context-aware guidance to help teams consistently follow best practices. We’d love your vote, but more importantly, we’d value your feedback, suggestions, or ideas for new features as we continue to improve Warestack!
André J
A lot of Nice features! Which one is your favorite?
Dimitris Kargatzis
@sentry_co from the feedback we’ve received so far, people love the side-by-side assistant and editor and the assistant's awareness of all the GitHub Marketplace actions. As for me, the feature that solves a lot of my daily challenges is having one unified space to see hanging items and know exactly what to tackle next. It helps me a lot to stay on top of everything! How about you?
Stelios Sotiriadis
Hey @sentry_co, mine would be: I can monitor multiple workflow runs from different repos at the same time! What's yours?
André J
@stelios_sotiriadis Oh I love that. I already do that in a rudimentary way with build badges with GitHub Actions.
André J
@dkargatzis I followed your GitHub page. Im a big fan of code-quality. I use codebeat.io a lot. And also I love building CI pipelines and automating things. Can't wait to see more of how this project turns out. This space has so much potential!
Ben Syverson
Congrats on the launch @dkargatzis! It's totally obvious looking at the product that you actually spoke to developers to understand their pain points. This would have been so helpful on my last few projects—particularly the onboarding assistance. Just want to say congratulations for not making a "me-too" AI coder, but instead focusing on solving a human problem for humans. :)
Dimitris Kargatzis
Thanks so much @bensyverson! Talking directly to developers and understanding their real pain points was key to building Warestack, so it’s amazing to see that effort recognized. The onboarding use case is definitely one of those areas we knew could make a real impact for development teams. We’re still actively expanding our technical advisory board to ensure we’re always learning how to support development teams better. If you’d like to share insights from your recent projects, or even join our TAB, we’d love to have you onboard!
Yigit Ihlamur
Congrats! How do you think about pricing?
Dimitris Kargatzis
Hello @yigit! Our goal is to provide development teams with essential features entirely free. For enterprises running hundreds of workflow runs daily, we’ve planned advanced features in our roadmap. While these may come with a cost, based on insights from our TAB so far, the value they bring more than offsets it!

Warestack 2 looks like an impressive tool for managing development environments! The ability to spin up environments quickly and collaborate seamlessly could be a game-changer for many development teams. Great job on this product!
Dimitris Kiriakakis
For the past 10 years we’ve been working with developers and even though the developer’s workflow has been improved, there are still many challenges development teams face. This was our motivation to build Warestack, a platform where development teams can collaborate better and release their code faster. ⚡️ As for myself, I've been already using Warestack to manage my own projects and ensure that best practices are being followed as well as to observe my pipelines and make them faster and more efficient. Through Warestack I'm also able to have a better overview of the PRs that are being submitted on my repositories instead of getting lost in long email/slack threads. I'd highly recommend you check it out and give us your feedback, while we continue improving Warestack and adding more features!
Tymek Zapała
Congrats on the launch! Do you have option of integrating with issue trackers like Jira?
Dimitris Kargatzis
Hello @tymzap and thanks for your support! We’re already working on Jira and Linear integrations. This means users will be able to seamlessly take tasks from project management to production. Our assistant will leverage task descriptions from the PM tool alongside the current repository state to help team members get started effectively on tasks. We’re also introducing some exciting extras for commits and PR descriptions, aimed at making the development process even smoother. If this sounds interesting, let’s connect and discuss further! We’d also love to explore the possibility of you joining our technical advisory board if you’re open to it.
Stelios Sotiriadis
Thanks, @tymzap for your post and support! That's our plan! Do you have any specific challenges you'd like to share with us related to tracking Jira tickets when managing CI/CD processes or workflows?
Wayne Dunkley
This looks like a well thought out and powerful tool, congratulations. I can see how we could introduce this into our workflows immediately. I’m looking forward to taking a deep dive into Warestack and seeing how it’ll work in our daily processes.
Dimitris Kargatzis
Thanks so much @wayne_dunkley! We're excited to hear you’re considering Warestack for your workflows. We already have some exciting additions in the works, stay tuned! Feel free to book a demo or share any ideas for improvements or new features - we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Huge congrats to the Warestack team on today's launch! I love how you're streamlining dev workflows with automated operational tasks. Here's a curious question: Can Warestack integrate with multiple version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) out of the box, or are there plans for broader VCS support in the pipeline?
Dimitris Kargatzis
Thanks for sharing the love @ihuzaifashoukat Currently, Warestack fully supports GitHub, and we’re happy to share that GitLab integration is next on our list. Our vision is to provide teams with a unified space to seamlessly manage all their activities, regardless of the VCS they use. We’ve spoken with over 50 developers, team leaders, and CTOs, but we’re always eager for more guidance. If you have specific use cases or suggestions, we’d love to hear them! Our technical advisory board is open, and we’d be thrilled to have you bring your ideas to the table.
Stelios Sotiriadis
Thank you, @ihuzaifashouk, for your post! That's our vision as @dkargatzis discussed below! Do you have any specific use cases in mind?
Olena Variacheva
Warestack is a useful tool for automating development and maintaining best practices. If you want to increase productivity and improve processes in your team, this tool is worth trying.
Dimitris Kargatzis
Thanks, @varrr_al! We’re committed to supporting teams by embedding best practices into every step with guided operations and automated checks for code changes. For those moments when tight deadlines push teams to skip best practices, we help by flagging operations against industry standards, or your custom criteria, ensuring nothing critical slips through.
Joep van den Bogaert
Cool. From what size (developers, repositories) do think it becomes a struggle to manage your workflows? Congrats on the launch!
Dimitris Kargatzis
Hello @jopie! It’s not just about the size of the team but the daily challenges teams face: - Bugs slipping into production due to poorly documented or unprotected code changes. - Best practices skipped because of tight deadlines or lingering technical debt. - Workflow optimizations unintentionally increasing costs for runners or delaying checks and releases. Our hooks and context-aware assistant help teams tackle these pain points by enabling: - Proper reviews with relevant suggestions for every PR. - Governed pull requests through automated branch rules and PR hooks tailored to the repo’s stack and industry standards. - Flagging unmet conditions in operations, enabling teams to quickly fix or even rollback efficiently when needed. That said, solo developers likely wouldn’t utilize this to its full potential - it’s built to help teams scale operations and maintain control over every code change. Would love to hear your thoughts!

@dkargatzis Great job on launching Warestack! I’m curious about the integration capabilities. Will Warestack support connections with popular issue trackers like Jira or Linear? How will these integrations enhance the overall workflow for development teams?
Dimitris Kargatzis
Thanks @qixing_zhong! We’re already working on Jira integration, Linear is the next. This way users will be able to seamlessly take tasks from project management to production. Our assistant will leverage task descriptions from the PM tool alongside the current repository state to help team members get started effectively on tasks. We’re also introducing some exciting extras for commits and PR descriptions, aimed at making the development process even smoother. Stay tuned for the next iteration! 😉

Super cool, very bullish on the idea! Is this expected to run as a CI hook (e.g. by a GitHub action) or is it something I could also trigger locally, before pushing a new commit?
Dimitris Kargatzis
Thanks so much @manu_hortet! Something cool is already in the works - stay tuned! It will be integrated into Warestack out of the box, but you'll also have the flexibility to use it locally. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to know more or even share any ideas.
