10x cheaper, and 30% faster Github actions runners in your cloud - with blazing fast caching, unlimited concurrency and static IPs.
Get started in just 5 minutes.
Thanks for hunting us, @mwseibel!
Product Hunt is special - we got our first customers for WarpBuild from here. I could not be more excited to share all the new developments since our fledging launch last year.
WarpBuild provides Cloud-hosted and Self-Hosted runners for Github actions. These are 50-90% cheaper, 30% faster, and are feature rich. It takes one line of code to get started, and is a drop-in replacement for Github-hosted runners including all the pre-installed dependencies.
Here are some reasons why teams love us:
- Blazing fast runners with fast CPU, SSDs, and networking
- MacOS (M2 Pro), ARM64, and x86-64 runners
- Unlimited cache sizes
- Unlimited concurrency
- Ability to run Github actions in your AWS account with 90% cost savings
- CI Analytics
- Flexible runner types
What are your biggest pain points with CI today? We'd love to solve them.
It does what it says on the tin: faster + cheaper CI builds. What else would you want? We switched at Campsite and have been big fans — congrats on the launch!
Wow, this sounds amazing @surya_oruganti! The speed and cost savings you offer are definitely gonna be a game-changer for teams working with CI. Can't believe you can get started in just 5 minutes! 🚀 Excited to see how WarpBuild evolves from here. The unlimited concurrency feature is particularly cool! Have you thought about any integrations with other tools?
@blankwebdev more integrations are on the way - specifically, we are interested in defragmenting the various developer touchpoints in and around CI.
We see a lot of users benefiting hugely from WarpBuild.
Hey Surya,
The 10x cost reduction and 30% speed improvement is incredible!
Can you share more about how WarpBuild handles security, especially with the ability to run GitHub actions in our AWS account?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin great question. We take the minimal set of permissions required to operate. There are no fixed access keys etc. used so there is no risk of leakage. Additionally, the user has full control on the IAM role and permissions so they can modify it too
The runners themselves are run in secure, isolated VMs that don't share runtime with other workflows/jobs.
hth.
Hey @surya_oruganti
WarpBuild seems like a super fast and cheap tool to run your GitHub projects. It promises to cut costs by a huge amount and speed things up by a third. Plus, you can start using it really quickly. It sounds like a great option for anyone who wants to build stuff on GitHub without breaking the bank or waiting forever.
@jack_michalak yeah, spend is one factor, but colocating it in your region/vpc has huge advantages as well.
And we have another huge speed up coming soon.
We're huge fans of WarpBuild over at Campsite (https://www.campsite.co/). I was skeptical of the hype of "one line change and faster + cheaper builds", but it was literally true. We moved all of our big actions to WarpBuild and left the simple ones on GitHub runners (since they give 3k monthly minutes). So far our CI expenses are down by 50% and speed is almost double. @surya_oruganti is super responsive too. We can't recommend WarpBuild enough.
