I've always struggled to obtain a straightforward page analysis that encompassed everything - meta tags, images, links, social previews, and more, all in one place. So, I decided to create a tool myself. In the process, I learned how to build a Chrome extension. It’s like getting double the espresso shot in a single cup. 🀠 Simplicity is at the heart of my design. Using this tool is a breeze. Install the Extension > Click on the extension icon, or for even quicker access, use the CMD / CTRL + B shortcut. Your page insights will appear in a popup. It's that easy! πŸŽ‰

Loved it, give you all the data you need in minutes.
Thaha
@karthik_tatikonda Thank you, Karthik.
Installed the extension and it gives me a great overview of what's wrong with a given page. I like how fast it is - it's a good tool to check - fix - check again - until everything is green tool. I tested it on my page weegee.ch and found there are still plenty of things to fix πŸ˜…

Having a tool to analyze our company's website is extremely helpful. Dealing with airfare, there are certain pages we need to keep updated often. The chrome extension has been a huge help to our dev team!

@matthew_sheldon Thanks, Matthew

This is an amazing Chrome extension! I discovered some things I had forgotten to include. What would be extremely helpful, especially for me, is a link that provides more information about what might be wrong. For instance, on one of my pages, it indicates that I lack favicons or schema, but I can see that I have them. It seems I made a mistake, but I'm unsure where. Nevertheless, great job!
Thaha
@mho22 Thanks, Yannick. That is the idea. Quick analysis to catch if we missed something on one of our pages.

Webpage Sherlock 2 seems like a fantastic tool for web analysis. I'm particularly interested in the real-time tracking feature. How does it compare to other similar tools in terms of accuracy?
Thaha
@nixkulinax Thanks Alex. It's real-time as there is no database or anything involved. It just analyses your current page based on the data available on the page. As for competitors, there are multiple such tools. I just put multiple features together as it can be one go-to tool.

Wow, this Chrome Extension sounds like a handy tool for SEO buffs! Imagine being able to peek into all those website details with just one click. It's like having a superhero's vision for on-page SEO.
Thaha
@angelo_galang Exactly, that is the intention :) Thanks Angelo.

Wonderful layout! Love how concise the tool is. Would love to see a suggestions pane or "how to fix" feature that helps users see what needs to be fixed. Bonus points for tailored suggestions, but that's not a make or break feature!
Thaha
@vreiche Thanks, Alex. Will consider your suggestions in the next iteration. Thanks for that as well.
