Hi PH community!
Today we are excited to launch Whiteboard to the public with the announcement of our iPhone, iPad, Android and web apps!
Whiteboard is the easiest way to organize your tasks and be more productive in your day. From the to-dos at home, to the tasks and projects you are collaborating on with others, accomplish more with less effort with an app that is flexible to your way of getting things done.
- Focus on what you need to get done with to-dos that automatically appear in your Today List based on start date or due date.
- Clear and conquer your daily to-do list with a swipe! Swipe tasks as Done or off to Later for the ones you can’t get to today.
- Organize anything you are working on within workspaces. Use a personal workspace for your to-dos around the house and collaborate with others in a shared workspace on projects at work.
- Collaboration that works! Delegate, comment and receive updates on any to-do! Even invite clients and limit what they have access to by hiding to-dos, lists and files.
- Whiteboard is flexible to your way of getting things done.
We are excited to get Whiteboard in your hands. Let us know what you think!
Integrating Todoist with a few other services through IFTTT or Zapier basically made switching costs really high for me. Pricing here sounds right (Todoist is expensive at $35 / year), but what is in here that will make me want to invest the time into switching everything over?
Well-designed, but lacking professional grade features like integration with file sync-and-share services (like Google Drive), bookmarklet/chrome plugin, subtasks, etc. I still need to play with it on iOS, and they seem to have invested a lot in the mobile experience.
That product video made me DROOL a bit! Outstanding work there...
On the app, since the focus came across as being on today's tasks, does it support repetitive tasks that come up, say, weekly/monthly?
Also, pricing s'il vous plait?
@avinashdsouza Thanks Avinash!
Yes, you can add a recurring schedule to any to-do. You can have it repeat based on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual schedule. It is pretty powerful : )
Whiteboard is free to use and free to collaborate with others on! iOS app (iPhone & iPad) is $2.99 and Android is $1.99
@kayvonolomi Wow! That's EXTREMELY low pricing...almost too low, but that's a business call at your end.
FYI, I'm certainly not complaining! :-P
P.S. Already signed up...very slick on-boarding. The directional arrows seem to be backward-front though...I could be mistaken.
@esbvn Thanks for the kind words Esteban! Sorry for the late reply here. Don't know how I overlooked it.
Here is a quick few things without being too bias towards Whiteboard : )
1. Focus on what you need to get done with to-dos that automatically appear in your Today List based on start date or due date.
2. Clear and conquer your daily to-do list with a swipe! Swipe tasks as Done or off to Later for the ones you can’t get to today.
3. Organize anything you are working on within workspaces. Use a personal workspace for your to-dos around the house and collaborate with others in a shared workspace on projects at work.
4. Collaboration that works! Delegate, comment and receive updates on any to-do. Even invite clients and limit what they have access to by hiding to-dos, lists and files.
5. You can stay up-to-date and keep track of what has taken place in a workspace all from within the Activity feed.
6. Whiteboard is more GTD focus where Trello is Kanban.
7. Beautiful design as you have mentioned of course : )
„Oh, another to-do app”, that's what you might think. Well, I got my hands on this 10 minutes ago and I'm already impressed. Been using Wunderlist + Evernote for getting organised out of the day, but this looks more appropiate to me.
Good design, great interactions.
I do love the clean interface and the simple reminder/push feature (pushing something out 4 hours, tomorrow, next week) makes it so much easier than picking a date and keeps things streamlined.
What's missing for me is if I set a time for something I'd love to see it blocked off in my iCloud calendar, and I'd love to set up a way for email notifications if a task isn't done when it's nearing its deadline!
This is a great start and I'll probably begin using this for all my personal tasks!
