Wookieepedia or starwars.wikia.com, which has just celebrated its 10th anniversary, has long been known as an online encyclopedia for information on the Star Wars universe and one of Wikia’s most prolific fan communities. Just over a year ago, we decided to create a platform that empowering these fan communities to create their own, unique app experiences. Naturally, this led to the release of the Wikia Star Wars Fan App.
We’re super excited about our new Discussions feature. Not only can users find all the rich Star Wars knowledge that has made Wookieepedia such a trusted source of Star Wars information, users are now able to have deep conversations about their favorite Jedi or simply express excitement as they anticipate the premiere of a movie.
