Why do I need to sign up to visit the chrome extension though?
Jack Smith
@bentossell not sure. wasn't overly invasive for me though. just asked for an email and password. at least not address or whatever
Ben Tossell
@_jacksmith yeh but an email address is valuable real estate for a company to have, I dont sign up to anything just off the cuff.... as this is a chrome extension I'd just assume that I could go directly to the chrome store
Jack Smith
@bentossell yep. it's a fair point, that they don't really need the email address for anything. I can kind of see why a startup would want you to provide an email address though
Ben Tossell
@_jacksmith lol obviously... email capture for building a list is something that so many startups do... it makes sense for a lot of them. Not saying it doesnt make sense here but just find it odd that I can't (edited) poke around and look at the chrome store WITHOUT providing the email. Puts me off.
Jack Smith
@bentossell do you mean CAN'T look around and check the chrome store? because this is their chrome store link, if it helps: https://chrome.google.com/websto...

Don't waste your time!

I have been bombarded with adds for Wiki Buy as I've surf the web. I decided to try and see if the Hype was worthy of the product. I buy quite a bit online, so I thought I'd compare some prices I knew. Wiki Buy was way off on their 6 products where I knew the recent prices, in the last 30 days. I won't be wasting my time on their site. now I need to find out how to delete them from my computer.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Prices are higher
