Wordcab — Automagically summarize live meetings and recordings

Very much needed - have been seeing increasingly people sending a link of a 45 minute meeting video recording and asking you to "check it out". Summarizing these in a reasonable manner would make me far more productive.

@ranjanxroy Thanks! And yeah, it's one of the reasons we made Wordcab in the first place. The recording is good for an audit trail, but hardly anyone that we've spoken to actually goes back and listens to it.
This looks amazing! Is it domain agnostic? What kind of meetings can or can't summarize?
Thanks @immanuelkapa - Saga looks awesome. At the moment, yeah, it's domain agnostic. It currently works best on 2-10 speaker calls, so that could be internal meetings, sales calls, podcasts, earnings calls, etc.
@piastunok At the moment it's just English but I have gotten requests for Swedish, Spanish, and more, so it's definitely a long-term objective!

What is the technology you use to summarize your meetings? That seems pretty impressive!
@kevinrabesaotra Thanks Kevin! We use modified open-source ML libraries on several custom-trained deep learning models.
Nice and much needed thing. Its seen that you worked alot! But the product`s UI is needed to be polished alot. Design also seems a little bit generic to me.
But if you continue improving this will blow up the business apps market!

Thanks @benln for hunting us! Hey everyone, Federico and I are super excited to introduce an early version of Wordcab 🚀.
Both of us attend tons of remote meetings every week. Before we’d just take notes either during the call (distracting 😒) or, if we missed something, look through a transcript or recording (really annoying 😑).
Federico is ex-BCG, so he’s dealt with this stuff for years. I’ve worked closely with consultancies for years as a content creator, which involved lots of summarization.
At the end of 2020 we decided to pool our resources and create something totally new - a platform that could summarize an entire meeting with just a recording.
Nearly five months later, we have a working prototype 🤖. You can now upload an audio file, or invite the Wordcab bot into a live meeting, and in minutes get a detailed, natural-language summary 📝.
Currently you can email the summary to stakeholders inside the app… but we have big plans for upcoming integrations. We also have an early API that’s available to all plans, including free accounts.
We hope Wordcab can save you and your team hours spent reading through boring transcripts or listening to recorded calls - besides, who has time for that anyway ⌛?
Hi! Nice product! It would be cool to have the video record to jump at the right sequence from the text. Getting facial expression feedback is often more important than what is being said. What are you using to search in your meeting documents?
@gmourier Thanks! Would definitely be cool but due to data privacy reasons we don't keep any of the audio (or video) on the server. The summary is the star... and we use Algolia.
Super excited to see Wordcab live on Product Hunt! Wordcab is a gamechanger for meeting minutes and is the result of months of strenuous work by @aleks_smechov, definitely one of the most talented and prolific makers I ever met!
