@t55 Yes, I can relate to that. But Flash is still the only way to access the list of installed fonts through the website. Actually if that capability didn't existed in Flash, I couldn't have made this.
Hello,
I am Fahri Özkaramanlı, founder of wordmark.it. An online tool to help people choose fonts.
It's been more than 6 years since I launched wordmark.it, and since then the number of people using it increased slowly but consistently. First and foremost, I would like to thank you all for sticking with the old wordmark.it and sharing it with your friends.
I have been observing how people used the site, what they loved about it and where they struggled most, and about 2 years ago, I started playing around with some ideas for this new version.
I am excited to finally share with you the new wordmark.it. Apart from its streamlined design, this version has some new capabilities such as tagging your fonts, previewing paragraphs or highlighting part of your text to better help you find the right font.
I have been testing it for some time but there still might be some bugs or mishaps. Please share your comments or any problems you encounter.
Ps.
The old version is still live at http://old.wordmark.it.

Absolutely ❤️ it, made my day! I know it is a big struggle when it comes to downloading flash player plugin but it seems necessary for this product. I really think this is a must-have tool for designers. Great work :)
@markusgerke Yes, I am so sad about this. Flash is so definitely dying. I am hoping browsers will implement permission based font access in the near future. Otherwise I'll need to port this into a downloadable app but it is Q3 2017, right?
This is a major blockage point in introducing new people to the tool. I should actually tone down that message and make it more informative and polite. Thanks for pointing it out.
What do you think about the tool btw?
@markusgerke wow, did you actually repeat the same and only critic(See the comment above) the maker had, in a more agressive way?
Q3, 2017 and people still don't have common courtesy to read others before commenting.
@markusgerke@samilkarahisar My guess is Markus is more of a visualizer than a reader. It's a bit rude to address the Flash thing when the maker has already explained why he had to use Flash. Markus can of course say whatever he wants but a bit of compassion for Fahri would have been more appropriate.
Hello @markusgerke, wanted to write here that your comment stayed with me for a while. It encouraged me to release a better version of wordmark.it where visitors don’t need to have Flash installed to experience how it works. They can choose to install it after they get to see whats in it for them, which is working great so far.
