WPShift takes the hassle out of managing WordPress by combining everything you need: servers, sites, domains, and email all into a single platform.
Say goodbye to the limitations of shared or reseller hosting.
Hello everyone! After nearly a year of building WPShift, we're thrilled to unveil our first ever launch and show you everything we've been working on.
As someone who's been involved in the WordPress ecosystem for years—experimenting with countless (shared) hosts and management platforms—I realized I was wasting a lot of time on multiple tools to manage my sites.
That’s why we built WPShift: one platform for all your WordPress hosting & management needs.
With WPShift, you can:
✅ Host your servers on leading cloud providers like DigitalOcean, Vultr, Hetzner, Linode, or even your own servers—no more shared hosting!
✅ Manage your domains, configure DNS settings, create email addresses, and take care of plugin and theme updates all in one place.
✅ Edit critical WordPress settings like wp-config, ensuring you’re always in control.
It’s designed to give you the freedom and flexibility to choose scalable, high-performance hosting on your terms.
Many general server management tools are available, but most lack comprehensive WordPress support and email functionality. WPShift stands out by offering WordPress-focused features along with email creation and management, ensuring a complete hosting experience tailored to WordPress users.
We still have a lot of features on our roadmap that we’re excited to build, and we’d love to hear your thoughts, answer any questions, and get your feedback.
Thanks for checking us out!
@rupgo Great question! While it's true that there are several tools out there, our platform is uniquely tailored specifically for WordPress professionals. By focusing exclusively on WordPress, we’re able to provide all the tools a WordPress agency or professional needs in one place—streamlining workflows and eliminating the need for multiple platforms.
Additionally, we stand out by offering built-in email support, allowing users to easily create and manage email addresses directly from our platform—a feature that’s often missing from similar tools.
Even if you’re not a WordPress fan, we’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how we can continue to innovate! 😊
@luuk_dahlmans great! thats a good approach and very niche! im sure theres a lot of people who will find this great! one thing i hate about WordPress is the updates and being sure nothign will break when you update plugins or wordpress, I think this is a big painpoint for many, how do you address this?
@rupgo Thank you for the kind words! 😊 We completely understand that updates can be a huge pain point for WordPress users, especially when it comes to ensuring nothing breaks after a plugin or theme update.
Currently, our platform supports plugin and theme updates directly from the panel, but you’ll need to check your site manually after updates. However, we’re working on a new feature to address this.
The upcoming feature will automatically visually compare your site before and after updates and check for PHP error messages in the logs. If issues are detected, the system will auto-rollback your site to the backup created just before the update—saving you time and stress.
This feature is still in development and is expected to launch in Q2 2025. We’re excited to roll it out and make updates a breeze for WordPress professionals! 🚀
@luuk_dahlmans Great!!! this is by far the worst pain i had with WordPress for ever! and all the clients i made wordpress for them, they always F%&ck it up when updates where available
Congrats on the launch @luuk_dahlmans@tommaessen!
Quick question: do you have built-in tools for tracking uptime and resources, or would that need a separate setup?
@tommaessen@ashitvora Thank you! 🎉 We currently offer built-in tools for monitoring server resources, so you can easily keep track of performance metrics right from your dashboard. Uptime monitoring is on our roadmap and is planned for release in Q1 2025. 🚀
Our goal is to create a platform that provides all the tools a WordPress agency or professional needs, so you only need one platform to manage your workflow efficiently. Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions—we’re always here to help! 🙌
