WrpUp — Make Videos Short, Concise, Relevant and Effective.

As a huge online video addict and a subscriber to quite a few YouTube channels, I've found myself spending most of my (🚽.. ahem) time watching looooong videos. When I tallied up my average video watching time over the past year (in short: 20 mins a day * 5 times a week * 52 weeks per year), I was shocked to discover that I had spent a total of 86.666666666 hours ⏳ on YouTube per year - that's about: 🍿 57 cinema feature films 📺 115 episodes of a Netflix series 🏈 86 football matches But more alarmingly, it also adds up to roughly: 👨‍💻 10 workdays That's right, I spent 10 workdays a year just watching videos! 😱 So I checked with a friend, and he had an even higher number. But hey, we're not about to give up our beloved videos - we learn so much from them, whether it's about technology, history, AI, politics, and more. So much time in our lives spent on that… So we came up with a solution: what if we could somehow warp time itself? 🧑‍🚀 Yeah! Okay, that's probably impossible (thanks for nothing, Doc Brown), but what if we could at least shrink the runtime of these videos? 🎯 Our goal was to extract the most important information from each video and automatically create a shorter, more digestible clip. And who came to our rescue? AI, of course! 🦾 We worked with several AI APIs and tools to create an automation tool that can condense any video into a more concise version which is between 60% to 90% shorter in length. And guess what? It actually works pretty.. pretty.. pretty.. darn well 😎 I urge you to give it a try! Our free online version lets you shrink youtube videos up to 10 minutes long to around 2 mins, but we're currently working hard on our beta version, which will be able to shrink even longer videos, and much more.
