This looks really cool - the sentiment analysis is a great idea. Question regarding that, can you speak to what kind of data you'd be collecting and/or sharing with third parties, if any?
@shilohjohnson Hey Shiloh, great question. We only take name and email information on sign up and this is shared with google analytics and Stripe after the trial. The personal information, eg. what users write and create on the website remains private and is not shared with anyone. You can read our privacy policy as well if you want more info :)!!
Hi PH 👋🏼 , my boyfriend (Stan) and I created this new private journaling app that combines learning to write every day with psychological tools and prompts to help you get through that hard/traumatic/exhausting thing called life.
We met at university in the UK and both studied Psychology. Stan then taught himself to code and I designed and created all the content for the site while studying for my Psychotherapy Masters.
Most people don't know the many benefits that journaling has on your wellbeing and most people find it hard to start journaling. They underestimate the positive effect introspection could have on their life, the lives of their friends, family and community.
Writing can change your life (it did mine), you just have to start.
WriteTomorrow helps people begin while making journaling fun and interesting!
Cool features of the website:
🦩 You earn points and hand-drawn badges (by me) for how often you write
🤔 We run some nifty content analysis stuff to your writing so you can understand how you think and what your emotions are as you write about your life
This is the first product we've launched and we're really excited to share it with you all!
P.S. Would love to hear what you think the most interesting part of the website is 🤔⬇️✨
I'm around (GMT time) to answer any questions too, thanks for checking us out 🥳
