Hey Wan Yi,
For users with a large number of Gists, does Yist offer any search or filtering capabilities to help manage the collection?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Search functionality is already integrated into the app. I'm not entirely sure about the scale of 'large number of gists' you're referring to. Please download Yist and give it a try. If you encounter any issues, feel free to contact me. Yist is continually evolving, and I hope it will keep improving to meet everyone's needs.
This app could seriously streamline how we manage snippets, making our coding life so much more efficient and hassle-free. Kudos to the team for bringing such a visionary tool to life! ππ
I've always struggled to manage my Gists across different devices, so having a seamless sync and offline editing is perfect.ππ This will streamline my workflow. Great job! π
@hackerqed Thanks for your interest! Yist is free to download. You can browse and view gists for free. For creating and modifying gists, we offer a subscription. This helps us maintain and improve the app.
This is possible with githubdesktop aswell. but you have to setup a token for every gist π€¦ I guess that is what this solves? I love gists. Did you consider making this a web app? Running in a website? with GitHub login etc?
@morphinewan I have not explored the idea. But there are a couple of issues with GH gist. it's very hard to navigate. So a web hub could fix that issue. BTW I wrote a tutorial on how to get gists working with GitHub desktop. https://gist.github.com/eonist/3...
