Precision milled from a single block of beautiful wood, the new Yohann stand is a simple but very functional stand for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with useful features for the Apple Pencil. You can use Yohann in three different angles. All three angles can be applied for landscape and portrait view. Yohann provides stable support on soft surfaces like a duvet or your lap. You can also use your iPad while charging with Yohann.
I like it, looks very useful and thoughtfully designed. Since it is a piece of wood with magnets it will be easily copied for cheap and sold on Amazon, does that bother you? Does your company sell any other products? I ask not to be snarky, I'm genuinely curious how you deal with the ease of copying any simple physical product.
@boxcardavid,
Hi David, we have utility patents granted in the US, and pending in other world regions.
Also, even if it looks easy to replicate it is not. We implemented essential details that are impossible to repeat. Additionally the needed precision and quality require a profound experience and knowledge of processing for this specific product.
Thanks Kevin for hunting our new version of Yohann. It's great for us to be featured! I am looking forward to answering any questions from product hunt users.
Looks really nice, but it seems like it would tip over at the slightest pressure. The girl in the video is being pretty careful, but that's not how I draw.
@sfhosley
Hi Sean, Yohann is much more stable then it might look like. Getting used to it people don't want to miss it anymore. Customers feedback and a return rate below 0.4% are underpinning this.
