Yuzu lets anyone build human-in-the-loop business processes without code. We combine powerful automations & integrations with the people-orchestration of a project management tool to keep your processes running to schedule.
Looks very promising. Love the market too… will be massive within 3 years. Quick one - how does Yuzu stack up against folks like Process St? I’m happy to be an alpha customer (use case: ecommerce SOPs outsourced to VAs).
Interesting! It reminds me of a mix between Human Lambdas and NextMatter. But you guys have the best name! I love yuzu.
Interesting to see if orchestration tools of this kind could adopted by smaller organizations. Who is your ideal user?
This looks really cool. The existing no-code tools are good, but they quickly become unwieldy once you start defining lengthy workflows. Yuzu solves this and makes it entirely visual. This is like visual programming for no-code workflows.
Excited to test this out, signed up for beta. Definitely agree Zapier is overkill for my team @yash_zaveri. Do you support repeatable checklists or l would I connect to something like @pzakin ’s Macro? Thanks!
@adam_zaczek Thanks, Adam! We see ourselves as quite different from Zapier - we're primarily targeting operations teams. These are the folks whose job it is to ensure processes are running efficiently.
Congrats @yash_zaveri and the team! The demo is inspiring. Would be nice to get more details. For example do you support scheduled triggers, how you manage exceptions on automated and human steps, etc. Will be watching you guys.
I really love the product demo! I wasn't sure at first - but was really convinced by the great example video.
But I do think your website is really crapy (sorry for being so blunt). I can't find any info about your company. You don't seem to have a working about page and your copyrights tags just links to Vercel.
Again, the product looks fantastic but especially since you are a B2B company, I believe businesses will have a hard time working with you like this. You should also invest in a privacy policy (& dpa) since you'll be a data processor - if you're interested in customers from the EU.
This can be easily fixed! I wish you guys all the best!
@florian_martens Thanks, Florian. Agree our website needs some work for sure. We've really concentrated on the product for now, but we will do a website refresh asap!
Thanks for hunting us, Murat.
Hello Product Hunt 👋
We’re Yash and Patrick, the founders of Yuzu. We’re super excited (and nervous!) to be showing our product to a community we have admired for so long.
Yuzu is a no-code process builder. We help you orchestrate efficient, transparent and adaptable business processes across your organisation. The twist in our product is that we accommodate both software and human process steps in a super elegant way.
Patrick and I started Yuzu out of the frustrations we encountered while working at previous companies. Regardless of the company size or our specific roles, we were constantly snowed under with repeated, boring work: updating spreadsheets, copy-pasting data across software products and chasing people across the org for status updates.
When we started working together we asked ourselves a simple question - why are there still so many of these manual processes running in companies today? After many conversations and a lot of reflection we had a eureka moment. We realised that many processes have one simple property in common, which means they defy automation. They intrinsically require some form of human intervention, approval or oversight.
We called these “human-in-the-loop” processes. They are not so uniform that an engineer could automate them, but they are generally more structured, repeatable and high volume than a process you should run out of a project management tool. Some examples of these processes (that our current beta users have built in our product) are sales contract generation, customer onboarding, implementation flows, renewals, billing flows and employee onboarding.
Yuzu is a great fit for these types of processes. In essence we combine an integration tool (similar to Zapier) with a project management tool (like Asana). That means both the software parts of the process can be automated, and the human parts can be tracked, scheduled and chased. The demo video hopefully gives you an idea how it works!
We are super excited to be launching today after so much work. Thank you, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!
Patrick & Yash
