I'm excited to be hunting Zeta Joint Cards! Money management is a pain point in every relationship and Zeta (a financial institution for families) has spent the last three years doing deep research on how to solve this. They're starting with modernizing the joint account, a tool that's been stuck in single-player mode for far too long. @aditishekar can you tell us at what stage a couple should sign up for Zeta Joint Cards?

I’ve been using Zeta for a few months and it has been a game changer for my boyfriend and I. Yes it’s great to have our mortgage payment come directly out of our Zeta account - though since that’s the same amount every month it’s pretty straightforward. What’s been more valuable is to put one off expenses onto our Zeta card - and add notations in app so the other person knows what it was without even having to ask.

Relationships are hard, but adding finances into the mix can be a deal breaker for so many people. The way that the Zeta team has built out their product takes away so many of the friction points when it comes to managing money with your partner. It’s just really smart. This is quite cool. I can only imagine how quickly this can replace common spreadsheets and confusions.

I've used Zeta for a few years now with my boyfriend. We charge shared purchases to our credit cards and split them, which incidentally has made our credit very good. I'm happily pitching money to the service each month and look forward to trying this one!
