Don't restrict yourself geographically. Get an internship remotely and gain experience with some of the top companies in the world.

Noonification
It was not easy for me to find an intern for non-paid position.
With this tool I see that a lot of people want to gain a first, real-working experience.
Lazy
I would have loved to use this but it looks like the product has dissolved. Nothing is on the website except for a "buy this domain" advertisement.
I have not used this product.
