SlickStack was super easy to use and was exactly what I needed when creating a client's WordPress server. Setup was relatively simple, and everything is well-documented so the process is a piece of cake.
After using SlickStack, I feel like a superstar. This script takes care of many areas that will take 10s of hours, if done manually, such as installation (nginx, php, certificates, sftp), security hardening (locking down ssh, root login, closing ports) and configuration of Nginx. If you want to impress your WP clients on how fast you can install WP servers securely, then use this script, otherwise, STILL use this script, it is just that good!! The community and Jesse in particular is helpful and can answer any question relating to issues that you may pick up. Jesse's vision of keeping web development open to all and away from the tech giants is admirable and can be seen in his willingness to invest his own time in developing and maintaining SlickStack. If you want to learn about WordPress than you have to start by installing it with this SlickStack.
