I love that Bitwarden is Open Source. That's why I tried it out. It has all the features you can get from a non-opens source password manager but then you can read how those features in the code!

It's really nice that it's open source and I can host it on my own server.

Great password manager, but sometimes can be a little buggy though in terms of detecting on when your on a website where you have already saved your password,

Bitwarden is my go-to password manager, and I absolutely love it. Its user-friendly interface makes managing my passwords a breeze, and it works seamlessly across all my devices. The fact that it's open source adds a layer of transparency and trust. I appreciate the end-to-end encryption, ensuring that my data is secure both on my devices and in the cloud. The free version offers robust features, including secure password generation and two-factor authentication. It's reassuring to know that even if I forget a password, Bitwarden has me covered. Overall, it's a fantastic tool for keeping my online accounts safe and organized.

Bitwarden is a great open source password manager. It's various browser extensions, desktop and mobile apps leads to a smooth experience for the user. The only issue I have with using Bitwarden is the fact that there is no auto fill feature for logging into other desktop apps. If this was present, Bitwarden would be a 5/5 product for me.

I've been using Bitwarden for 1+ year now, and it's been more than amazing. As a password manager, it does a great job but it can also be your TOTP device and more recently passkey manager, it's just what I always hoped for. Just imaging being able to easily login on any platform (mobile, web, cli, desktop, etc) with just a shortcut, it little takes 2 seconds, no more 'forgot password', Bitwarden is always there to back you up, so that you can free brain space to store valuable information and not just passwords.

I use this as my password manager as its free + open source. I'm pretty happy with it, it fills all the functionalities of a password manager regular people would need. Something of a minor inconvenience (I'm using the Chrome extension) is that the UX is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes clicking an icon button in an item opens its viewer and clicking the item itself activates autocomplete, and sometimes clicking the item opens its viewer. I keep on mistaking the user icon as 'view item' but instead it copies the username hahaha 😂 Other than that, I like and use the 'generate password' and 'autofill last login for this page' keyboard shortcuts a lot. Maybe a suggestion is to have separate keyboard shortcuts for generating a password with random characters vs one that generates a passkey. I prefer passkeys but when some websites have password requirements I need to change my password generation settings and its inconvenient to change the setting back to passkey every time.
