I just can't see what makes it different from Twitter or X, it's just ... boring. I wish I could find something else. The open source aspect does not make it better or different for most users.

Its commitment to transparency and user empowerment is commendable. Cons: One limitation to note is its 300-character per post restriction for those users that are only using the bsky.app. While this may encourage concise communication, it could also feel restrictive for users accustomed to longer-form content such as with Twitter premium. Overall, it's a promising platform with a focus on user privacy and community collaboration.

I've found the app nice, simple, clean, and the people on the service have been of mostly good quality. Not like other experiences with other similar services. Is looking hopeful.
