What do you think about Ground News from the source?
Slowly becoming one of my favourite sources of current affairs. Allows you to clearly see which media covers what headlines and what kind of spin they may be applying. A great option for people who feel like they may be caught in an echochmaber.
Pretty neat product. Besides being a good bias checker I assume this could also help one determine whether or not something is being widely reported on. Will help keep information on the internet and avoid unnecessary censorship. Kudos!
Ok @harleen I was a little skeptical at first about what this app did. I was worried there was going to be a biases.
What I love about the product is.
1. It's very easy to use.
2. It just gives you the facts for where an article has been published and a "general breakdown of " Left, Right and Central".
3. It gives me a sense of what's "general news" vs. "politically driven articles" (on both sides).
Question for you..... how do you determine if a source is Right, Left or Center? I get there are the obvious ones, but what about the others?
Great work!
My new go-to tool for news. It curates everything in one place, and I can look at a headline but access various perspectives from different news outlets to understand different points of view. I can access based on the latest news, top headlines, or my fave - the map view.
I really really like the map view. I follow soccer and with ground I can zoom in on Manchester, Munich, Madrid, Barcelona, etc. to follow different matches and see what is happening
Love this and much needed. I experienced that not all news articles show bias checker under it, even if they are from the same news source on Twitter, e.g. under Sky News or BBC News feed, I see bias checker on some of their articles, but not all. @harleen
I think this is an incredibly smart idea/product. Especially with politics seemingly becoming more and more polarizing. I think it will also help combat pandering from political news outlets (providing better and more accurate news reporting) and help people become more informed on news and/or politics.
