I have a good experience: I found a job last month, although at first I received not very relevant vacancies. Later I added reviews from colleagues, and it seemed like there were more connections like this. There is also quite a lot of CEO on the platform, I think that should also somehow improve the chances of hiring.

I'm here after receiving their email “Discover remote side projects”: which goes to a subscription form that has some kind of UX dark patterns to catch the user without providing the real advantages of the service. I can't pay for something based only on a description of checkmarking my pain points, without examples of how the service works and may benefit me.

However, usually, the most dissatisfied 1% come to the comments, reviews, and all platforms. Therefore, from one dissatisfied user, we receive five negative feedbacks, while from 100 satisfied users, we get only one positive review because everyone else is too lazy to leave feedback. Also the paywall is designed to challenge users to make an active decision about their commitment. It’s not about paying before seeing value; it’s about being willing to invest in yourself and your search for opportunities. Also you cancheck our social media channels where we share updates about our product and user success stories.

I just went through the reg flow, and the very last screen requires you to purchase a subscription. Feels very scammy, and was a waste of time. If this was a legit service, there should be some type of free tier to try it out. Asking users to pay without proving your services/results is not a good business strategy. I'm sure they can do better.

Honestly, at first I wasn’t sure if Intch was the right platform for me. I’m a designer and wasn’t getting the kind of jobs I wanted, but after I added some recommendations from old colleagues, the job offers got better. Now I’ve got way more connections, and it feels like I’m more visible to the right people.

A former colleague invited me to leave a review about himself. I liked the way his resume looked on intch and the concept was pretty cool. So I registered and paid for a year. I like that the site hasn't become cluttered with posts about successful success yet and is focused on finding a job or advice or consultations
