Promising Platform, Disappointing Experience
Investor Scout initially caught our attention with its promising platform aimed at bridging the gap between founders and investors. The concept sounded great, and we were eager to dive in. However, we quickly realized that the free version offered limited features, making it hard to get a genuine feel of the platform's potential. Despite the high monthly fee, we decided to take the plunge and upgrade to a paid account.
Our excitement was short-lived as our payment was accepted and confirmed, yet our account remained stuck on the free tier. We reached out to the support team, who suggested switching browsers or clearing the cache. Despite multiple attempts and following all the recommended steps, the issue remained unresolved.
While Investor Scout seemed like a great solution on paper, the technical hiccups prevented us from utilizing it to its full potential. After spending a considerable amount of time trying to rectify the payment registration issue, we reluctantly decided to move on. However, we do appreciate the prompt refund issued to us upon request.
Investor Scout still holds promise, and perhaps others might have a smoother experience.
