Deceptive business practices. Be extremely cautious if considering a purchase from InVideo. When I bought my lifetime plan from them, I was explicitly told it included lifetime access to their new product, InVideo AI. This turned out to be misleading. InVideo AI is, in fact, a separate product requiring its own subscription and the purchase of additional credits. This deceptive practice by InVideo, promoting one product but requiring separate purchases for another, is a serious concern. It shows a lack of transparency and integrity, leading to a complete loss of trust in their business practices. Potential customers should be aware of this tactic and approach any offerings from InVideo with skepticism.

This is basically a huge waste of time. the prices are too high and there it's not a product that deserves such prices. the free trial is a scam since, well its very useless. your options are limited and there's a watermark. just a waste of time.

I REALLLLLY don't like when companies waste my time. Red flag of unethical behavior higher up. I wanted to test a workflow but realized they misrepresent their free plan on the landing page and there's a watermark on the video. Time wasted, going back to Davinci Resolve.

When I reached out to customer support, they repeatedly insisted that the problem was due to user error rather than considering any possible fault on their end. This response was not only dismissive but also wasted a significant amount of my time, as they continued to offer the same unhelpful advice over and over. After spending more than four hours trying to resolve the issue through their support team, a ticket was finally created. However, instead of providing a solution, the ticket was closed shortly after, without any resolution or further communication. They left me with a poorly written set of instructions and a link to a video that, to my frustration, did not work. This lack of effective support and accountability is unacceptable for any service, especially one that positions itself as a professional tool. Furthermore, I found the overall user interface confusing and difficult to navigate. The instructions provided were not clear, and the support team did not seem knowledgeable or willing to escalate the issue to their engineering team for a proper investigation. It felt as though they were more interested in closing the ticket quickly than actually helping me resolve the problem. In summary, my experience with InVideo AI was a waste of time and incredibly frustrating. The poor customer service, combined with the unaddressed technical issues, has left me with no choice but to seek alternative video editing solutions. I strongly advise others to consider different platforms, as InVideo AI failed to meet even the most basic expectations for customer support and usability. It’s disheartening when a company does not stand by its product or provide adequate support to its users. I cannot recommend InVideo AI to anyone looking for reliable and effective video editing software. Save your time and money by choosing a more reputable service that values its customers and stands behind its product.

I haven't used Pictory yet, but it looks like it might be more customisable than InVideo. I think Pictory might have a better UI. They both seem to build on stock footage but as I said, it looks like you might be able to manipulate Pictory videos better. One monetary cost at a time though. I think Pictory GUI rather than text prompt may help improve outcomes.

Invideo is extremely bad. I bought lifetime deal before but it turns out that they just give me one month of AI video generating. Normally, when you see a product has strong marketing campaigns from youtube, tiktok, to influencers, they are bad :). Because they are so bad that nobody wants to buy it if they don't advertise and trick innocent people. Duhh :) Good luck! I'll never ever subscribe invideo again!
