I may be a little biased, but I've been so impressed with what the Lazy team have been building with a comprehensive but intuitive capture tool and the ultimate PKM tool all nested into one.
It's really changed the way I note-take and the way i capture and re-discover knowledge, whether it takes the form of my own notes, interesting articles, emails, tweets and so much more.
Very excited to share with everyone what we've building!
I honestly believe we were able to seamlessly address a lot of pain points when it comes to organizing your knowledge. The biggest one being context-aware no context switching capturing. Now imagine the AI opportunities it opens up...
Ok, I can't honestly rate the app itself or how it performs because I haven't been lucky enough to get into the beta even after nearly harassing the Dev on Twitter as well as the Official Lazy Twitter. I know, I know... I'm such a jerk. I couldn't help myself, I needed this tool that badly. That should be a testament to the absolutely unmatched talent in the design, marketing, and entire team really to be able to have me hook line and sinker the very first time I saw Lazy and I haven't even had the privilege of testing out this magnificent piece of software. I just lurk in the shadows, peeping out from out under my rock every so often only to check "did I get my Lazy invite yet...?" then I crawl back under my rock and bide my time.
I'm not sure where all these reviews are coming from. The founder of this app has not launched this app publicly and has parked many people (myself included) on a perpetual waitlist for nearly a year now.
The videos and marketing content looks fantastic, but I think it's disingenuous to showboat so much of this app's potential without providing access to users who want to test drive it themselves. I'm more than happy to update my review if I'm able to legitimate try it.
Did it capture the videos words or the written description or none of this?
does it capture linkedin assessment questions?
and how are these notes saved? how does the aftermath of a month usage look like?
This was the first app I was so excited for that I did everything in my power to get early access. What an amazing piece of software. Effortlessly maintains my knowledge-base, saves everything I want and need, and it is all there systematically organized for me to look at later.
I love the design, the shortcuts, and the overall experience. My heart goes out to Ahmed and the team and I am so happy this has finally launched to the public. Good luck team – you have created something truly amazing!
This is amazing! Context switching has always been a productivity drainer for me and I think this will solve for it. Excited to get started with Lazy. Thanks for building this!
🚀 Imagine just one AI tool that becomes your assistant for everyday AI Content Operations ... accessible to everyone, not just experts.
🤖 What if this tool overlayed all your apps and could be called upon with just a single keystroke - offering summaries, analysis, rewriting, and answering prompts across your entire workflow?
💡 Now, take it a notch higher - what if you could customize this AI with your own prompts, finely tuned to your workflow and topic area?
✍️ Oh, and this is a knowledge management app that allows AI to rummage through your pile of notes, PDFs and other files to close prompt your own data.
👥 And what if this app went multiplayer? Enabling users to share their prompts and grow collectively in a community space?
While this may seem like a distant dream, Lazy is getting there, one step at a time.
And the best part? This post was a user test. I wrote a note about Lazy in their app and created my own customized 'Turn this into a LinkedIn post' command.
Press one button and any note becomes a LinkedIn post ... the kind I want to write.
Yay! You are in for a treat! A well designed product, with a great community around. This team know what they are doing, and I highly recommend considering Lazy.so as the only tool for capturing you ever need!
