I've tried the basic so far, make 3D primitives, render, AI generative output, it seems pretty powerful. The credit based system might be slightly costly in the long run, I just want it to run offline, import my blend files, make workflow involving other app like ComfyUI. It has potential.
Need Blender Nodes.
I love magpai! Really a ton of potential for creative exploration. I would consider myself to be an "AI" skeptic generally, but tools like magpai definitely open my curiosity a lot more and currently for me magpai is able to function as sort of a jamboard to play around with lots of different creative ideas. Especially when creating decks, pitching, or coming up with ideas. It definitely has potential to be used in interesting ways for production too. For example, I love using the zeroscope nodes to augment videos/animations. Magpai can get really addictive once you start to have fun with it.
Magpai actually feels like a powerful, versatile pipeline tool. Almost everything else I’ve used before either feels like a tech demo one-trick pony or else requires too much elbow grease to get working. Magpai works the way I’m used to working. The developer is active and responsive and is constantly adding new features.
The full potential of AI will not be found in a single monolithic model but the combination of smaller, specialised models. Magpai makes it easy to connect and explore the myriad ways of combining these models with a no-code interface.
After using a whole bunch of different ML\AI tools separately it was great to find a way to combine those separate tools into repeatable single workflows.
The node based graph is logical and powerful, as it allows you to build procedural setups that you can reuse quickly and easily. The dev team have been super receptive to requests and feedback as well which makes a massive difference.
If you're hoping to leverage AI for large scale outputs I can highly recommend giving magpai a go, it's saved us a tonne of time.
I love Magpai. I’ve used it for so many things at this point - from custom email invitations, photo books, and pictures. I love that you can create a workflow and template to run over and over again!
