Best in class. I've saved over 10k on flights. E.g.
- Memphis to London Business Class retailed for 7k USD on American Airlines. Noticed on my paid Roame account that Alaska also supported the flight for 45k points. Alaska was also doing a deal on points which retailed $480 + $200 cash fee.
- Saved another 3k on an Air France Business class flight from London to Singapore. Retailed for 2.5k each way, got each flight for just about 1k when transferring points with my Amex and doing the point equivalent calculations.
The value is clear.
