The best travel planner to replace your itinerary spreadsheets, lists of bookings, recommendations & spread out travel apps. All you need, packed in a super user friendly overview, easily shareable with friends & family!
Not at all easy to use. Very hard to delete or edit content if you change your mind about anything, especially dates and destinations. Worse, there's no help guide. I've spent many hours trying to make this work but there is always something that doesn't work or can't be changed. Worse, the creators aren't at all helpful as emails and feedback are totally ignored. I want to plan a trip next year and I'm spending far too much time trying to guess what to do rather than planning. And then getting pissed off because what I want to happen doesn't happen. It's like it wants to be clever but doesn't care about all the normal stuff such as being user-friendly (as in intuitive) or doing good customer relations. No app can possibly survive if its users spend hours trying to make it work. I've spent a few weeks trying to master the app. Unfortunately, the results are so-so to awful. I have contacted the makers several times and they can't be bothered answering my really basic enquiries. Another few days and I'm out. And suggest you go too.
Stippl has a lot of potential, but it’s not quite there yet. The idea behind the app is fantastic, and it’s clear the developers have big ambitions. However, the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
The biggest issue is the app’s stability. It crashes far too often, which makes planning frustrating. There are also basic bugs, like not being able to add items to an existing plan, that really hinder its usability. These should be fundamental features that work seamlessly.
I’ve also shared feedback with the developers about adding a day-by-day planning feature, which I believe would make the app far more useful. Right now, the app is designed to plan location by location, which feels limiting. Unfortunately, this feedback seems to have been ignore (I didn't reven received a reply to my email).
It feels like the focus is on monetization rather than fixing these core problems and improving the user experience. Stippl could be a go-to app for travel planning if these issues were addressed, but in its current state, it’s more of a source of frustration than a helpful tool.
For inviting friends:
Instead of entering their email, creating a group and having an invite link for friends to join would reduce the friction in onboarding.
Product looks good. All the best for the launch.
