YES! Great job! This is absolutely needed to help those who manage domains and want to make sure they aren't blocking the wrong thing. I'm hopeful they can keep building this into something that helps not just developers but users as well.

Yeah, discussion here is very surface level. I guess that's to be expected since everyone here is trying to hustle their own products.
I kind of wonder if the PH leadership should think about moderating more, and also whether they should do threads with gated responses. So the high-value answers would get more views and maybe lead to more points/followers for those who are real visitors.
In the PH community, what is meaningful discussion?

I feel like you have to segment this into "for what". :)
Coding? Absolutely - if you're not, you're kind of shooting yourself in the foot.
Other productivity / business? How? What is it really getting you?
Now I'm really interested in the "personal / fun" stuff. What is working for you?
Are you ACTUALLY using generative AI in your work?

I think Justin Welch does a good job of distilling how to succeed on LinkedIn.
My main takeaways are:
* post daily (which is really f'ing hard)
* when you write, just do a post. Don't get distracted by the other options.
* spend the first 300 characters getting people intrigued as that is all you see in the feed before
* tell a real story, be transparent
* also - turn on creator mode lol

Copilot - it's awesome. The world will never go back.
The other two - I wish I had access!
Do you use Copilot, Code Interpreter or Code whisperer in coding?

Yes, absolutely.
The question is - what is the point of social media?
Do people really want to be social? Or entertained?
If entertained... AI will have you covered.
If social... what is that? Do you really get that from FB/Twitter/Insta/Tiktok/??? now?
Do you think AI will saturate social media content?

Yes.
It's not as easy or time-boxed as it sounds.
It assumes you've got the resources of Google to find a bunch of people to talk to within 1 day.
That work takes a ton of time. If you can do that, then the 5-days is possible and awesome to do.
(I worked within Google and participated in one led by someone junior - let's just say the parts where you talked to customers/users was... skipped.)
5 days Sprint by Jake Knapp? Have you tried to apply this to your product prototyping?

I thought @vedranrasic's course on Product Hunt was good. I don't think there's a T-30 day guide more than:
* get PH points by participating so you sort of rank in their algo, if there really is one
* make friends so they will hype you and vote for you - also, build your list by doing this
* try to make those friends across timezones due to this 12:01PT launch thing PH does
What else?
Any T-30day guide to launching successfully on Producthunt ?

How many browser extensions have you installed?
I am wondering if extensions are still a nerdy thing for those who are not shopping (like using Honey).
If you do have a few installed, which ones are NOT developer related?
I'll go first!
Amazon-related:
* fakespot (to detect fake reviews)
* camelcamelcamel (to track pricing)
Other:
* Grammarly - I happily pay for this
* 1Password - passwords
* Privacy Badger
And then I'm working on an...

I agree with @entreeden - if you don't know, you don't know.
For those answering - how did you FIND the apps in the first place?
I am a nerd so I clicked on the Apps once... they all looked so awful and only worth if you are already using the service that had an integration.
Do you use Zoom apps? If so, which ones do you use?

Can you provide a little more detail?
Financial services is one of the places "AI" is used a lot.
Are you talking about making presentations or doing internal work? If you can be more specific, it could help describe your market as something beyond "financial services"! š¤
