I think it depends on what you think as 'work' - I would say I'm less inclined to work on my laptop over the weekend to build things or email, but going for walks, listening to podcasts, reading relevant books, taking time to think creatively, meditating, new ideas - I think that value can often come from 'free time' or weekends. So I think it's a blended thing.
Do you work on the weekends?

This is a really good idea. I often think about publishing blogs but then I wonder if I am so caught up in it, that I think it's clear but no one else does. Food for thought and good that some tools are available on this, thanks!

I think there are going to be so many new tools in this space, I've seen a lot! For note taking and team alignment Notion or Trello work well. 15five is also good for teams and one to ones. Simple and effective. At the moment I'm trying to build a tool that makes online meetings more effective in an async world - lots of new video conferencing tools popping up!

I struggled with this and I think turning your camera on helps, but then on the other hand, it leads to more burnout (standford just brought out a study on this). I try to have a clear agenda, know why I'm there and what I need to add and where. Also do you need to be in these meetings? Sometimes these long meetings have lots of people, but that aren't needed for the whole duration, or not...

This is exactly what I'm trying to build and launch on product hunt. Online software is so boring and not functional for different types of meetings, definitely not for building culture too. Happy to show you if you'd like, let me know!

Congrats on the launch Chris and John! Really handy when slack is your primary communication tool. Excited to see it grow!

I think where people used to rely on their commute and the office as a way of defining the structure of their life and a physical separation of work and home life, now you need to do it yourself. For me creating structure has been keeping consistent with a morning routine, some form of exercise day to day, and a clear list of three things I need to do every day. No more, or no less. When the...
