This "gamification" of investing in an attempt to seduce millennials is in my view horrendous. Investing successfully is not a game. Investing successfully is incredibly hard. It only seems easy now because we're in a decade-long bull market. "Everyone makes money in a bull market." Companies like Square and Robinhood are capitalizing on this FOMO.

The problem is most employees don't want to be paid in crypto because they can't do anything with it. Even if they were to convert it to fiat, to be able to use it in the real world, eventually their bank's compliance department will call them up and tell them to stop because banks consider anything related to crypto as risky.

Be careful - in their top devs section, the photos are fake. They are pulled from thispersondoesnotexist.com. Open one of the profile pictures of one of their "devs" and you will see it is generated by AI (blurry ears, etc.).
