This is fantastic (cheers to the makers!)
I've been playing with it for a few hours. With Userbase and Svelte, I built a rudimentary version of an app idea I've had for a few years now. Userbase is insanely fast to build on.
Ran into no major issues – this thing is starting off quite strong. Usually these kinds of things launch with a few major gaps.
I absolutely love that everything is...

Really excited to see this, but when I went to go set it up on the screen where I'd authorize access to all of my contacts on my google account (without being told what would be done with that access?) the "privacy policy" link does... nothing.
It's presumably just a WKWebKit thrown in there without regard for implementing the methods needed to open external links in a new window, so I get how...

So glad to see this. I've always thought this is where consumer Mac apps should go — basically into a Spotify of Mac apps. Users get access to new apps (instead of fearing a bad purchase in the MAS and just walking away), developers get recurring revenue. It's a win-win.
On top of that, it looks like Setapp really nailed the execution of this concept. If this thing takes off with consumers,...

Here's Founder Thunder Round's first episode of 2017. In each episode, I asked 10 founders 1 question.
Our fourth episode draws on our founders' valuable experience, asking, "What was the silliest thing you ever worried about?" Learn what really matters and what really doesn't from 10 founders who have been around the block a few times.
Here's where you can find the audio version:

Here in episode three - my favorite of the first few! - I asked our ten founders, "What is success to you personally?"
This was a particularly fun question because it caught a few off guard.
Here's where you can find the audio...

Here's episode 2, submitted correctly!
Founder Thunder Round is a new web series featuring 10 founders in each episode answering 1 question.
Podcast interviews with experienced founders can be very enlightening for others building their own companies. But there are two problems: first, the episodes can last an hour long, and only contain 3 or 4 nuggets. When you’re starting a company, you...

@bentossell — I submitted it this time with an audio-only link to the podcast version on SoundCloud. Forgive my naivety, but how do I add the audio to the submission?

Hello again, PH community!
Founder Thunder Round is a new video web series featuring 10 founders in each episode answering 1 question.
Why? Podcast interviews with experienced founders can be very enlightening for others building their own companies. Problem is, the episodes can last an hour long, and only contain 3 or 4 nuggets. Plus, they only give one person’s experience, presented as the...

Honored to be nominated. Thanks PH community for all the up votes back in January (how has it been that long??) and the fantastic discussion. This is a truly great community. Thanks for making me a part of it.

To be clear, this book "Designed by Apple in California" was designed and published by Apple, which is what makes it so interesting.
