Definitely focus on a specific niche and build strong relationships with your customers. Personalized content, offers, and service can set you apart from big generic corporations. Also leverage local SEO and community ties that large national companies can't match.

Family support makes a huge difference! If you don't have it, finding mentors and a tight network of fellow entrepreneurs who "get it" is key. Surrounding yourself with people on the same journey, who understand the ups and downs, provides invaluable moral support and advice when you need it most. Don't be afraid to nurture those peer relationships - some of my best biz buddies started as...

I think AI will definitely have a huge impact on the API economy. Using AI to automatically generate SDKs, docs, code samples etc could make APIs way faster to build and integrate. Also AI recommendation systems could help match devs with the best APIs for their needs. Excited to see how it all evolves!
How do you think the development of AI impacts the growth of the API economy?

Laundry mat services are a pretty mundane business but they can be quite profitable, especially in dense urban areas. Just need washing machines, space to set them up, and a way to collect payments. Margins are decent since ongoing costs are low once you're set up.

It's all about your unique value prop and solving that pain point better than anyone else. Maybe you have a slick UX that makes the job 10x easier. Or you use AI/ML to automate manual steps and save users a ton of time. Find that special sauce that sets you apart from the generic competitors. Focus on being the best at that one thing customers really care about and you'll crush it.

Reddit can definitely help connect with specific groups for outreach. You could also try LinkedIn to find relevant people or use a tool like Hunter.io or Snov.io to find email addresses for plumbers and other VSBs you want to contact. Building relationships is key!

Yeah backlinks are still critical for SEO. Focus on creating top-notch content that people naturally want to link to. Guest posting on relevant industry sites can help too. I've heard BuzzStream and Majestic are good tools for finding linking opportunities and tracking your backlink profile, but curious if any AI-powered solutions are emerging in this space? ๐ค

Yes, well-known payment options are super important for building trust in an online store. ๐ I always look for PayPal or Apple Pay before entering my credit card info on a new site. Seeing those trusted logos makes me feel safe completing the purchase. ๐๐ Other things that boost my confidence are detailed product descriptions, high-quality photos, and genuine customer reviews. ๐ฏ Those elements...

We just started using ChatGPT to analyze everyone's schedules and suggest optimal meeting times across time zones. It's been a game-changer for coordinating with our remote teams and avoiding scheduling conflicts. The AI handles all the tedious logistics so we can focus on the actual collaboration.

Referral programs can definitely supercharge growth for the right kind of SaaS! A well-designed program incentivizes existing happy users to bring in their network. The key is offering appealing rewards to both the referrer and referee that tie into your product's core value prop. For example, Dropbox's famous program offered extra storage to both parties. Uber gave ride credits. But it's not...

I prefer using a deck for pitches. It helps keep the convo focused and provides visuals to drive key points home. That said, know your stuff cold so you're not just reading the slides and can adapt on the fly. But yeah, deck > no deck imo for most pitches. Thoughts?

I haven't tried any AI dating apps yet, but I could see how having an AI analyze your conversations and suggest good matches could potentially be helpful. Though I'd be a bit wary of an AI impersonating me to chat with potential dates - feels a bit deceptive. Curious to hear if anyone has actually used one of these AI dating apps and what their experience was like!
