Hello fellow makers and developers, π
We've come a long way to be here today, launching the latest version of Unbody on Product Hunt. I'm Amir, one of the founders, and I'd like to share our journey with you.π€
Six years ago, I wrote the first line of code for what would eventually become Unbody, initially a headless CMS. My co-founder, @hossein_mehrabi, joined three years later. In 2022,...

Our side project is not on the side anymore π€
5 years of coding on nights and weekends, all while juggling full-time jobs. Then, I got laid off 4 weeks ago, and everything changed. It was time to dive in fully β we ramped up development, multiplied our outreach efforts, gave numerous demos and talks, expanded our networking, and ramped up our blog posts. As a result, we started seeing some traction and finally decided to enable payments on...

Hey hunters, what's your take on AI-written comments here on PH?
Seeing so many OBVIOUS AI-written comments on ProductHunt lately. Honestly, if we're not putting real thought into our conversations, why bother? Missing the human touch.

What should be a demo video for launching on PH like?
Hi everyone π Amir here and we are building unbody.io. We have our first PH launch in few weeks. Doing so we have tried to record a 2-min live demo of the product by myself. However I also see, some other startups use an explainer video and some others a teasers/promo videos.
Here's what we have
https://youtu.be/FP1NJuP7CQI?si=qw4fJAtMdY1lGoSZ
So i was wondering what's your take is on this?...

Founders, how do you do product demos in a short video?
I mean, i enjoy giving live demos to the crowd and in person. but recording a demo as a video where you know nothing should go wrong because you only have 5 minutes, that's just hard. I've had about 50 tries today and no success to have one take.
of course another way would be to do it in part but that would require lots of editing and i don't have the tool nor the time.

What CRM for early stage b2b?
Hey fellow bootstrappers and early stagers, I'm looking to understand and track the activity and usage of users for my project. Considering our tech stack is Supabase + Stripe, I'm thinking about using a CRM. Any recommendations?

Web devs, when did LLMs start making sense for you?
There's often a learning curve with AI, particularly with LLMs. For me, the 'aha' moment came when I integrated an LLM into a website project to have a contextual search engine . What's your story? Iβd also be happy to share some pointers that helped me along the way.

Depends on what functionality you are looking for, if it is something you can solve using embeddings and vector search, for example, there is weaviate.io. Recently they added also generative models to their engine.

Not sure about trends. But by raise of large language models, we eventually will go more towards less UI layers and more direct/intuitive in HCI.

We will have a radical shift in software horizon; how we define, design and interact with softwares will start to shaken up by increasing the use and accessibility to large language models. The word seems to be out about GPT-4.
What are your 2023 predictions?
