I believe that if you’re building for other indie devs, then it does work better. Sometimes, people building in public are able to share their stories about how they overcame a certain problem, so it does have value in creating that human connection. However, outside of the indie dev domain, I don’t see it being as beneficial.

Thanks for the updates. These new features certainly add more flavor to the overall experience of PH. I'd suggest improving the visibility of new posts. There are so many interesting questions that often get buried and end up without a single upvote or comment. Even when sorting by new discussions, these posts don’t appear right away and can take hours to show up.

I believe talking to customers and understanding whether the solution resonates with them in addressing their problem is an important early step.

Network as much as possible, talk to customers early, get feedback from them and then build.

Almost all the time if you don't have a customer yet. Once you have a product market fit, then it can be split into 40% on marketing and 60% on product improvement, customer support etc.

Of course it is possible. There are many non-tech businesses out there that are not using AI. They still have problems which need solving through technology but not necessarily AI. Being in tech, we are exposed to sample bias, where all news is mostly about AI-powered startups and people with interact with are mostly working in tech and they happen to be using AI tools. Storytelling is how you tie the key concepts of your content together. It answers the "why" of your content i.e, why the reader should be interested in your content.

I like dark mode at night and light mode during the day.

Both Instagram reels and Youtube shorts will try to up their game, both services are pretty good for founders, especially Youtube shorts. They will have even better tools for creators for analytics and monetization.

It's helpful to track the time spent on tasks. Apps can show where your time is going and help you manage it better.

Not sure how companies would feel about this. If it’s a low ticket item then I can see it working. For high ticket items, people prefer to buy from people.

For influencers, Instagram reels makes sense, for founders Youtube shorts might work better.
