Remember random sh*t about people that seems really trivial and bring it up later. It makes people feel special and seen.
E.g. if you're in a team meeting or group context and someone mentions that they were late because they were taking their daughter to soccer practice, next time, you can ask, "How's your daughter liking soccer? Is her team crushing it this season?"

As an ex-product manager at Google, I used to think being part of a strong team was everything.
But once I started building my own newsletter this year, I realized that being your own boss is the ultimate freedom. You live life on your own terms, and if you want to build a strong team around you, you get the best of both worlds.
Would you rather be your own boss or be part of a strong team?

How do you manage the arrival of a new member of the team ?
