Any college students looking to create something? What are the questions/confusions you have?’
Recent grad. Ok maybe not, but I've tried a couple different roles after grad and ended up on the startup journey for the past few months. No income yes, but I'm the happiest I've been. Just like fish in water.

7 Lessons I Learnt On This Startup Journey
I see a lot of people asking for advice but not really anyone giving them. Here’s some from my real life experience over the past few months. Hope it helps those dipping their toes in the water and perhaps give a better idea for those who are on the fence.

You can never motivate people. Even money is a short term boost. T
he best way is to find out what they want to achieve in 6months or 2 years, and help them achieve that through your company.
Sustainable motivation is intrinsic.
Also, recommended to have weekly 1-1 meetings and team meetings to gauge where they are, emotionally, and professionally.

read Naval Ravikant or blogs written by similarly successful people who think on their own. Use their knowledge to go against what you grew up with. There can be a lot of shit or things in our head that's there bcos everyone else also has it, not because it serves us well.

Nobody owes you anything and you're free to do anything.
There's really no script to success. You can read all the bios you want, and do the exact same thing as them, and you will never end up like them.
We'll can learn from their grit but still have to beat our path forward. Every success is different, but every failure is the same.

Both can be equally good. I tend to write my learnings down, at the end of the day, imagine myself in a situation that requires it and use it... It helps remember it the next time the situation arises.
