@a9_io did you use Firebase for authentication? (thought I saw a firebaseapp redirect url briefly while signing in) If so, did you also use it for your database, or did you build out a full stack application with a server and other database? I'm just curious as to how powerful Firebase has gotten!

Impressive, but late September is an odd release date choice for such an app...

The PH Tech Digest says that this app organizes notes into hashtags, and then asks "why hasn't this been done?!" Well, it has, check out Workflowy. It's amazing how it can be so simple, but so powerful. It's literally just a bunch of nested lists with #tags and @people, but I use it every day, for everything!

Looks like card payments only get easier and easier these days! I am wondering though, how much users can modify the payment page. I would think that many companies would want to keep the look and feel of their website consistent, even during payments. So will there be any options for branding and styling of the payment portal?

@rrhoover just tried it out. It looks great, but one thing that would make it better is if we could upvote from inside the menu bar app, instead of having to go into our browser. When we click the little upvote or comment buttons in the app, it simply opens the product in a browser. I think it would be so much better if we could just scroll through and upvote things without leaving the app! I...

Sweet! Just comparing stuff here, but is there/will there be any email tracking, send later, etc features? Those are definitely high on my must-have features that make it worth downloading a whole app instead of just using the online client. Sleek design btw, Colin

Very well done. Can't believe it though, I had this exact idea a couple months ago, though I'm not surprised someone beat me too it! Is there a Android version? If not might try and build something similar with Ionic + Angular 2, but that won't be for a while.

Heard a lot about this app, especially the fact that it killed Meerkat. Also, it's got some of the most upvotes I've ever seen on PH! Other than that, I like the idea, and the fact that it beat Meerkat by being better designed, simple, etc... Finally, it is related to Twitter, which kind of feels good since Twitter's been doing bad lately. (Is there any update on embedded Periscopes on Twitter?)

This is a funny little creation, albeit being utterly useless in all cases except entertainment... Some people say that stuff like this should not be on PH, I partially agree. I love the fun, quick, hackathon style creativity of these types of products, and think we need some of these on PH for a good laugh. But the other side is annoyed that projects like this get more attention than fully...

Having a "One-Click-Unsubscribe" button has made me realize how much junk I get and don't even read. Let's just say that since I've switched to Polymail, I've visited a lot of "Sorry to see you go" pages!
