Hi, my name is Colin McDermott and I am tech SEO geek from the UK. I started making websites in the late nineties after school, then after University I picked everything back up again and started my internet marketing journey. I got into SEO around 2006-2007, and started picking up commercial experience with inhouse jobs, agency work, and my own websites. I have built hundreds of websites, done 1,000s of SEO audits and helped 10,000s of people to learn about SEO via community forums and my articles. In 2014 I launched Search Candy, a boutique SEO consultancy. I currently work at Whop.com as Head of SEO.
