Hey everyone! I've been working on startups on the side for 18 years and have failed more times than I can remember. In the mid-teens, I sold my house and decided to be an entrepreneur or bust. For a couple years I pursued spacesift.com to be an "Airbnb for event spaces" and had some decent traction when in 2016 I stumbled sideways into business formation through BetterLegal trying to help a lawyer-friend make his process more efficient. One of the very early ideas for BetterLegal was to help small startups with contracts to avoid getting bent by lawyers with exorbitant fees (our LLC to Corp conversion cost $23k). But, alas, the technology wasn't there. As AI evolved, I kept dipping my toe in the water and 7-years later, we're finally here.
