I use've used Notability for a couple of years now. It's been easy to use, has an option to mark notes as private, and the handwriting search works well. I'd recommend giving it a try.

You may want to make the text in the marquee and the nav a little easier to read. I had a hard time reading it with the background video. Seems like a good idea. When we've done international travel, we've tried to schedule a guide at the beginning of our trip to get a better feel for the city and get a locals perspective on where to eat, how to get around, etc.

I'm looking for some quick beta testing help from some people living in Europe. I recently returned from a trip to Italy. While I was there, I noticed some issues with timezone changes in our travel app. I'm back in the US now so I can't fully test the fixes. I created Duckwyn (https://app.duckwyn.com), a mobile travel game to help families learn about history through their travel experiences. It helps you track the states and countries you've been to and gives you rewards when you answer trivia questions about historical sites you visit. I'd love to get your feedback.
