Both can be effective, but try to be mindful about file size as videos or even gifs that are too large can slow loadtimes, causing clipping, and overall have an adverse affect on deliverability.

The big AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude can be helpful for expanding and iterating on ideas (ditto for SEO research tools and keyword finders) but for me, real genuine content ideation is best done by a person or team who's an expert on the given topic. I find it helpful to think about a work day in terms of tangible objects as opposed to hours spent. And within that, identifying a big project that you absolutely must get done that day is a helpful practice. There's a book called "The One Thing" that is helpful in thinking about this.

No matter what platform or venue you're communicating on, I have found that being honest, transparent, and real with community members is the best strategy. For instance, if you have people asking for a particular feature but you know you aren't going to build it any time soon, it's better to be upfront about this rather than promising the moon and disappointing.
