The new v3 is a mess. I have no issues paying for a good product, though I'm certainly not a fan of subscriptions, but I'm not going to do that based on *promises of future updates* but on what it does and can do *now*. And in v3 features were mostly taken away (not to repeat what almost everyone else has said, with several threads on /r/macapps as well) so it does *less* than v2 and does so...
