?makers: Product aside (looks awesome!), that launch video was rad. Who produced it?

I've used a lot of these types of tools before and none have been produced results this good so quickly. Been a customer for about two months and can't believe they aren't charging more.

The hardware looks cool, but this appears to require using their VPN service. A VPN is only as good as the juristiction they're located in, the specific logging policies (traffic, DNS requests, timestamps, bandwidth, IP addresses), their demonstrated activism/philosophies, leak detection, obfuscation, encryption levels, ethics, etc. I wouldn't consider using this until it gets reviewed by...

Best app I've seen in a long time that tries to reinvent the experience and workflow of processing email. The last one being https://emailgame.baydin.com/. Nicely done - and I don't say that lightly!
Pros: Gorgeous, thoughtful UI. Highly functional. Solves real problems!
Cons: No real "cons" yet, but I wish it allowed exporting tasks to 3rd party systems.

Disappointed is how I'd describe my overall reaction to this "new Gmail." Lots of features borrowed from Google Inbox and some other competitors (Protonmail), but nothing resembling the reinvention of the "experience" of using email that I crave. "New Gmail" does not make actually dealing with email any more pleasant for me.The most innovative thing about this is probably the "secure message"...

Been looking forward to this. I love the concept of Keybase as a keeper of crypto-identity. Where do you see this going in terms of adoption -- it seems less like a product for mainstream and more like something for really tech-savvy people and engineers. Do you have any thoughts on how to broaden your appeal, or are you satisfied with this niche?

I love the idea of weighted blankets, but really don't like the fact that you're using plastic pellets for the weight as opposed to something like glass beads. To me, this organic one with glass beads looks great --
is there anything else different about yours I should consider?

Rad. I've always wanted the ability to create virtual cards for everything online to mitigate fraud or even just to maintain control... But other services that offer this are all kind of sketchy. Excited to hear about other creative use cases that developers enable.

What I really want is to be able to delete physical mail before it arrives. Maybe 1/10 pieces of mail is legit. For now, I'm trying to reduce unwanted mail through PaperKarma (https://www.paperkarma.com/).
EDIT: Damn. They are closing PaperKarma in April. Any good alternatives to reducing unwanted physical mail spam?

This is fantastic! When I read the first one, I expected it to end after the infographic, which was already an excellent summary, but I really appreciated the write-ups and references as well. I felt like I got the value of 15 hours of reading and synthesizing condensed into less than 1.

Hopefully this initiative will result in some "trickle up" to the Skype Regular. I don't care about bandwidth usage, but I do care about how the app handles itself in challenging network conditions, how much power it uses, and how snappy the app behaves.

@vinayp10 Based on the video + pitch for this I assumed I would be able to have tasks trigger external actions (like mailing a postcard via Lob to a new customer). But after poking around and trying to use this for something, it seems like what Process.st really does is it allows external services to trigger new instances of team checklists.
Curious if you have the sort of functionality I...

Would love to hear more of your long term product vision, @johnbiggs. From the looks of it, Typewriter seems more like an MVP test – I mean, it's a web form that funnels high-end freelancing work to you and a couple of editor friends, who work with clients the old fashioned way, right? What's your mission? Why have you created this? Side project or 100% project? I see you're also CEO of a...

Cool idea, and very well done first version! After spending 10 minutes with it, my unsolicited feedback:
1) It seems really hard to "select" an existing ball. I try to tap 10-20 times before the bottom menu comes up. After messing with it I realized that what's happening is if the phone things you are trying to "move" the ball (even 1px) it doesn't let you tap the ball to expose the menu. The...
